ESNCM partnered with the Nablus Circus School in January, producing a concert at the circus school as part of their Culture Activities series. On 21st January the six-member ESNCM girls’ choir, “Banat Nablus”, accompanied by an ensemble of teachers and advanced students, joined with the string trio “Trio Awtar” in a concert of Arab and Western vocal and instrumental music, before an audience of 80 people. Banat Nablus choir was established in 2014, and is led by ESNCM teacher Joseph Duqmaq. Its repertoire includes songs by Asmahan, Mohammad Abdel Wahab and Julia Boutros.
