The ESNCM is proud to have ended the academic year
2010-2011 with many remarkable achievements:
The
launching of the Palestinian National Orchestra at the New
Year in Ramallah followed with two concerts in Jerusalem
and Haifa. Two music festivals were organized: the Arabic
Music Festival “Layali Al Tarab” and the Jasmine
Festival in Spring. This Summer was full of activities where
three summer camps were organized to enrich the musical
skills of the students. For the first time, a summer course
with four different modules was organized. The project
“Melodies of Hope" was launched in Lebanon, to give a
chance for the Palestinian children of the camps in Lebanon
to learn music. Throughout the year, students’ ensembles
participated in various external performances in Jordan,
France, Sweden, Norway, Serbia, and Kuwait, including the
significant tour of Palestinian Strings in the USA. Finally,
the year ended with the stunning two performances of the
Palestine Youth Orchestra in Ramallah and Nablus.
