Maya Abu-Arayes, a 17-year-old piano student in the Nablus branch, performed her level 8 graduation recital on 26th January 2019, in the concert hall of the ESNCM Nablus branch, in front of an audience of 60 people and the examination jury. Maya’s hour-long recital showed her ability in a wide range of styles and historical periods, and included Schubert’s Impromptu no. 1 in C minor; a movement from Bach’s D minor concerto; Romance by Sibelius; and the Three Fantastic Dances by Shostakovitch.
