Ramallah Branch

The first branch to open in 1993, the Ramallah Conservatory has played an important role in the cultural life of the twin cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh and in Palestine as a whole. It was originally situated on the top floor of the three-story building of the Birzeit University Board of Trustees.  In 2014 the Ramallah Branch moved to its purpose-built premises, on a piece of land donated by the Municipality of Ramallah. As well as teaching and rehearsal rooms and a music library, the branch hosts a 200-seat concert hall, a state-of-the-art recording studio, a cafeteria and a musical instrument shop, "Oud Sharq". In the academic year 2018/19, 329 students are learning music in the Ramallah Branch.
