Academic scholarships granted in Jerusalem
As part of the Conservatory’s efforts to attract new students, popularize music-making in every Palestinian home, and support and empower women and young women, the Jerusalem branch offered a set of academic scholarships in cooperation with Al-Bustan Association in Silwan, targeting students who wish to learn to play rhythm instruments and contrabass as well as Arabic singing. Thus, on November 3, following a series of interviews and auditions, the Conservatory awarded several scholarships in Arabic singing, one scholarship to take lessons on percussion instruments, and five scholarships to learn to play the contrabass.
