Christmas Nights 2021

After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, Christmas celebrations were back to be celebrated at the Conservatory.
“Muranimu Al Mahd” (The Nativity Carolers) were back in exceptional Christmas evenings. Kick starting the season In Bethlehem, the choir was honored by performing at the annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. In addition to performing at numerous churches and municipal venues, the choir delivered a joyful evening in Jerusalem at Yabous Cultural Center, performing traditional festive songs in Arabic and English, which were met with huge audience enthusiasm, who sang along and filled the theater with festive cheer.
In Jerusalem, the ESNCM and Yabous Cultural Center celebrated the season with love and joy, starting with the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Conservatory’s garden which was also a remarkable event, showcasing the best of what the conservatory has to offer, from the unique performances of the string ensemble, to our joyful choir singers and many different activities that were enjoyed by all at the Yabous Christmas Market. The audience was treated to a one of a kind “Christmas Celebration” by the ESNCM Wind Band which toured Ramallah and Bethlehem as well.
In Gaza, the students and professors celebrated Christmas, where they performed classical and Baroque music in the Church of the Holy Family, in cooperation with the French Cultural Center.
The conservatory was keen to convey the atmosphere of joy to the students and parents with small parties in the branches to light the Christmas trees, in which the students participated in special Christmas performances.
