Percussionist Brad Broomfield turned Nablus Street in Jerusalem into an outdoor concert venue on 22nd June 2019, when he performed in three different locations on the street as part of the "Nablus Road Open Days" venture and the Jerusalem Nights Festival. Crowds gathered as he played outside the Schmidt Girls' School, in front of the Dominican Church and opposite the YMCA. Brad, a classically trained percussionist from the USA, is also steeped in many different music cultures and has performed with orchestras and world music bands all over the world. He has played principal percussion with the Jordan National Orchestra, created the Philadelphia-based project 'Drumming for Social Change", and taught percussion at the ESNCM.
